AMA — St. Charles Parish Sheriff Greg Champagne said deputies responded to a medical emergency at 5 p.m. Tuesday to the 100 block of Robert Street.

Upon arrival, deputies located the body of Jassen Robert, 48, inside the residence. Robert suffered from stab wounds and was pronounced dead on the scene.

Champagne is asking anyone with information to contact Detective Joseph Dewhirst at 985-783-6807 or Crime stoppers at 1-877-903-STOP. Residents do not have to give their name or testify and could receive up to $2,500.
