- Oct. 14, 1992: Casey Pregeant, center, is a PASSED Drug-Free Student. Pregeant, a student at St. Charles Catholic High School, received a $50 savings bond from Bank of St. John, represented by Melinda Brignac, and a T-shirt from BE&K Construction Co. With them is St. John Sheriff Lloyd B. Johnson.
Oct. 15, 2005: Oct. 4 was the feast day of St. Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of animals. In honor of St. Francis, St. Joan of Arc held a special blessing for all pets in the parish. Ashlyn Hymel is shown with her dog, Jake, at the pet blessing.
