Hello, my name is Natalie D. Beam. I am your new Library Director. I am very happy to be here in St. John Parish.

I’ve been enjoying my explorations of the parish. I have visited some of the plantation homes and restaurants. Along with discovering the cuisine in St. John Parish, here are some of the highlights I’m looking forward to in October.

I will be visiting the Andouille Festival on Oct. 16 and 17, then voting on Election Day, Oct. 24. Also this day, The Friends of the Library will be hosting a Book Sale.

Lastly, not only is the last Saturday of October Halloween, but it is also the Louisiana Book Festival in Baton Rouge.
