LAPLACE — Authorities are looking for a man who exposed himself to women in LaPlace Tuesday night.

St. John the Baptist Parish Sheriff Mike Tregre said his office received the report at 10:15 p.m. Tuesday of a man exposing himself to two women sitting outside a residence in the 1500 block of Ellerslie Avenue.

“The women told deputies that the perpetrator was wearing a black-hooded sweatshirt and black shorts,” Tregre said in a release. “Deputies canvassed the area looking for the suspect to no avail.”

Deputies later responded to the residence a second time when the complainant saw the perpetrator near the intersection of Madewood Drive and Greenwood Drive.

“She told deputies that he was now wearing a red shirt and black shorts,” Tregre said. “Deputies canvassed the area looking for the suspect to no avail. Deputies stayed in the area and continued looking for the perpetrator, but they never located him.”

Anyone with information regarding the complaint is encouraged to call the St. John the Baptist Parish Sheriff’s Office TIPS line at 985-359-TIPS.
