Hahnville 38 — Patterson 7

The Hahnville Tigers routed the Patterson Lumberjacks at home in the second week of the season. The Tigers gave up one touchdown to the Luberjacks for the initial score of the game before putting up 38 unanswered points.

Destrehan 44 — Woodlawn 7

The Destrehan Wildcats ran up the score on the Woodlawn Black Panthers, who are coached by former Destrehan assistant Daniel Luquet. The Wildcats were led in scoring by John Williams, who had three touchdowns on the night.

Woodlawn’s only score of the night came off a 55-yard pass in the first quarter.

St. James 20 — Bogalusa 15

The St. James Wildcats fell behind early but came back to beat the Bogalusa Lumberjacks. St. James wide receiver Arron McKenney had two receiving touchdowns.

The Wildcats added another score off a punt return for a touchdown.

Lutcher 34 — West Jefferson 31

The Lutcher Bulldogs squeaked by the West Jefferson Buccaneers. The Bulldogs fell behind early but came back to take a 12-7 lead into halftime.

In the second half Lutcher wide receiver Gregory Clayton reeled in two touchdown passes.
