LAPLACE — The River Region Chamber of Commerce held its monthly breakfast networking event, “Chamber Perks,” Thursday at Advanced Marketing & Promotions on Cambridge Drive in LaPlace.
Attendees enjoyed coffee, cookies and pastries as AMP staff members explained aspects of their business that make it successful.

The Chamber is hosting a Quickbooks Intermediate Class from 4 to 7 p.m. next Thursday at the Chamber Resource Center, 390 Belle Terre Blvd. in LaPlace for $60 per person. A working knowledge of QuickBooks is needed to grasp the topics. Call 985-359-9777.
