Annette Dietz, 42, joined her heavenly family on Tuesday, August 4, 2015.

She was born in Albuquerque, N.M. and resided in LaPlace. She grew up in Eugene, from the time she was 6 years old until she graduated from high school.

She attended Willamette University and obtained graduate degrees from Southeastern Louisiana University.

Dietz was an educator for 19 years and specialized in working with students with disabilities. She was a musician and loved dancing. Her favorite pastime was spending time with her multitude of family and friends.

Dietz was the beloved daughter of Claudia Thompson Dietz and Robert E. Dietz; niece of Sonja and G.A. Conner, Lyle Thompson and Connie, Dwayne and Irene Thompson, Sharon and Roger Vote Sr., Mike and Jane Thompson, Marjorie Gomer, Henrietta Dietz, Diane Dietz and the late Willie Dietz, Dorothy Mathewson, Ed Dietz, George Dietz and  Helen Dietz; granddaughter of the late Henry and Mollie Dietz and Uvon ‘Tommy” and Beatrice Thompson; and godmother of Lahna Simms.

She is also survived by the Simms and Noah families, her Louisiana Family.

She will be missed by  many cousins and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Celebration Church, 3400 Highway 51 in LaPlace on Saturday, Aug. 8, 2015 at 1 p.m.

Visitation at the Church is from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m.

Arrangements are by Millet-Guidry Funeral Home.

A Visitation will be held at Butler Funeral Home, 407 E. Broadway, Bolivar, MO on Wednesday, Aug. 12 from 10 until 11 a.m., followed by a graveside service at the Morrisville Cemetery.
