David Fisher Sr., 53, passed away on July 15, 2015, at Jefferson Healthcare Facility.

He is the son of the late Sidney Fisher Sr. and Ethel Fisher, both of LaPlace.
He is survived by eight siblings: four sisters, Florestine Joseph, Cindy Fisher and Annette Fisher and Emeria Olley of Las Vegas; and four brothers; Sidney Fisher Jr., Cardell Fisher, Wayne Fisher and Ronald Fisher.
He has two children, Debbie Lynn Williams (Durmaine), David Fisher Jr. and one granddaughter, Hasuani Fisher.
He leaves a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted by Hobson Brown Funeral Home of Garyville.
The. Rev. Jeff Patterson will be officiating of Beechgrove Baptist Church at 117 Beechgrove Dr. in Reserve.
Visitation is from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday, July 25. The funeral is from 10 a.m. to noon. Burial will be at Providence #2 Cementery in Montz on Union Lane.
