- The annual Rotary Banquet and officer installation was held June 30 at Petra’s Restaurant. The incoming board for the Rotary year includes, from left, Anita Dabon, Director, Vocational Chair; Harry Glidden, Treasurer; Linda Stein, Secretary; Raj Pannu, President Elect, International Chair; Dean Torres, Vice President; Melanie Basile, President, Community Service and Fundraising Chair, Public Relations Chair; Beverly Harris, Past President; Damon Davis, Sergeant at Arms and Cheryl Millet, Director.
The Delton Arceneaux Citizen of the Year was given to Tanya Roccaforte, right, for her role in forming Perry’s Posse and her outstanding service to the community. She was nominated by Linda Stein and Melanie Basile. She is shown with Beverly Harris, left, and Melanie Basile.
The Stephanie Wilking Youth Leadership Award was given to Jeffrey Millet for his
accomplishments academically and for his leadership abilities. He is shown with Beverly Harris and Paula Wilking. He was unanimously chosen by the Board to receive this award.
