RESERVE — Three dozen actors and actresses from the greater River Region have been cast to star in St. James Community Theater’s production of, “The Addams Family,” which debuts next month.

Show dates are July 24, 25, 30, 31 and Aug. 1, with each performance starting 7:30 p.m. at St. Peter Catholic School, 188 W. 7th S. in Reserve. A 2 p.m. July 26 show is also planned.

Production organizers said “The Addams Family” features an original story — every father’s nightmare.

Wednesday Addams, the ultimate princess of darkness, has grown up, fallen in love with a boy and is bringing him home for dinner. Only one problem – he’s normal!

Highjinks ensue when members of the delightfully dark Addams family host a dinner party for Wednesday’s normal boyfriend and his parents.

Terrell Robinson is playing Gomez Addams, and the rest of the main players include Tammi Marshall as Morticia Addams, Sean Roussel as Uncle Fester, Marcy Bordelon as Wednesday Addams, Tyler Palermo as Pugsley Addams, Cary Berthelot as Grandma, Mickey Dupont as Lurch, Ben Arabie as Mal Beineke, Margaret Lipscomb as Alice Beineke and Logan Viverito as Lucas Beineke.

Organizers said St. James Community Theater is returning to producing summer musicals after a six-year hiatus.

At the helm of next month’s production is director/designer Darryl P. Clement.
