Graduates finish at LCMSA

NATCHITOCHES — One hundred seniors, including three from the River Parishes, comprised the 31st graduating class of the Louisiana School for Math, Science, and the Arts.

They participated in their commencement ceremony May 23 in Prather Coliseum located on the campus of Northwestern State University.

Graduating students included Jared McElveen of LaPlace, Trey Schexnayder of Lutcher and Neel Reddy of Destrehan.

Honor students finish at McNeese

The President’s Honor List for the spring 2015 semester at McNeese State University includes undergraduate students earning at least a 3.5 grade point average or better while carrying at least 15 semester hours.

Local students on the President’s Honor include Coti Ann Roussel of Reserve and Spencer Floyd Albert of Luling.

The McNeese State University Honor Roll for the 2015 spring semester includes undergraduate students earning at least a 3.0 or B average while carrying 12 or more semester hours.

Area Honor Roll students include Marcus Mitchell Brinkman, Joshua E. Smith and Wesley M. Vickers of LaPlace; Shalin Jeanise Townsend of Boutte; Jalen Alexander Byrd of Luling and Mason A. Matirne of St. James.
