LAPLACE — Ascension of Our Lord kindergarten students performed the play, “Our Kindergarten Year” for their kindergarten celebration.

The main characters were the Board of Examiners, played by Bruce Barber as Dr. Quiz, Teagan Bradshaw as the Choir Director, Chade Welch as Uncle Sam, Madelyn Hoffman as Mrs. LeBlanc, Adriyanna Woodly as Mrs. Gurdian, Naychan Clayton as the Priest and Amarii Grinstead as the Principal.

In the play, the Board of Examiners asked the class questions about what they learned this year. The students answered through oral responses, songs and dances.

At the play’s conclusion, students received a certificate from their teachers, Lisa LeBlanc and Emily Gurdian.

A reception followed in Don Bosco Hall.
