Photo feature: Kendrick Watson earns scholarship

- LaPlace’s Voice of Truth Church Lead Pastor Laurie Taylor-Adams recently presented The Late Pastor Cornell Adams & Voice of Truth Ministry’s first Industry/Communications Memorial Scholarship Award to 2015 East St. John High School graduate Kendrick Brown Watson. Kendrick was mentored and inspired by the late Pastor Adams, and the name ‘industry’ in the scholarship’s title was chosen because Adams loved his job at the Port of South Louisiana. Watson is the grandson Margaret Dunn, who lives in LaPlace. Watson is seen with Lead Pastor Laurie Taylor-Adams.
