Twelve South Central Louisiana Technical College Instrumentation students, along with Interim Department Head and Instructor Jerry Layne, went on a field trip to Entergy’s Little Gypsy Electricity Generating Station in Montz.

Plant Manager Glenn Savoir and Entergy’s Reggie Johnson, Alvin Mack and Michael Shaughnessy gave the students a tour of the facility.

The tour exposed them to the work environment they are training for and enhances their understanding in the classroom.
