The public is invited to the 17th annual Get High on Life Memorial Day Breakfast at 8 a.m. at the KC Home, 346 Fir St. in LaPlace, where organizers will pay tribute to the men and women who served and defended the many freedoms we enjoy. St. John Theatre’s Children’s Theater Workshop runs from June 1–12 at the theater in Reserve. Children will be introduced to musical theater through Cinderella KIDS.
