Elaine Brown Montegut, 86, passed away on Tuesday, April 28, 2015.

She was a native of Opelousas and a resident of LaPlace.

She was the beloved wife of the late Sidney J. Montegut; mother of Dennis J. Montegut, Kenneth G. Montegut, Thomas P. Montegut, Ann M. Felkner and Kay M. Garrity; daughter of the late Julia McSpadden Brown and Albert S. Brown Jr.; and sister of the late Albert S. Brown III.

She is also survived by nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Millet-Guidry Funeral Home, 2806 W. Airline Hwy, LaPlace on Thursday, May 7 at 11 a.m.
