Comets Shine at District Literary Rally

LAPLACE — St. Charles Catholic High School was honored to send 30 students to the annual South Central Louisiana District Literary Rally 2015.

Juniors Amanda Riviere and Jeanne Roussel received art Honorable Mention.

The Literary Rally is a competition that encourages high academic achievement. Three seniors from SCC placed first overall.

The top winners include Emily Bergeron, first for Advanced Math/Functions and Statistics; Amy Kugler, first for Journalism; and Kylie Revere, first for Art.

In addition, juniors Amanda Riviere and Jeanne Roussel received Honorable Mention in Art.

Math-Functions and Stats, Heaven Mamou – Algebra I, Brittney Jacob – Calculus, Victoria Becnel – Geometry, Connor Pecoul – Civics, Mya Leake – World History, Emily Weidert – Food & Nutrition.
