LUTCHER — St. James Parish Hospital has scheduled its spring Puberty Classes for March.
The hospital’s education team hosts puberty classes to discuss growth and development changes that occur during puberty.
Classes are held in a relaxed, clinical setting, and participants must be accompanied by a parent or other significant adult of the same sex. Girls ages 9-13 and boys ages 10-14 are invited to attend.
The class takes place at 6 p.m. March 18.
Girls and boys classes are held separately. The girls class will be taught by a female instructor and held in the Medical Plaza Community Education Room.
The boys class will be taught by a male instructor and held in the Hospital Meeting Room.
