Thomas Frederick Daley passed away on Jan. 31, 2015, at the age of 61.

He is survived by his wife, the love of his life, Margaret Mary Daley, his two daughters Bernadette Daley and Monique Daley; his mom Winifred Joan Daley; his brother Stephen Daley and his wife Donna; his twin sister Therese Budd and her husband Lee; his brother Joe Daley and his wife Debbie; his sister Maryann Azzato and her husband Bud; his sister Christine Ternosky and her husband Mark; his sister Rosie Daley; his brother Anthony Daley and his wife Maria; his brother John Daley and his wife Nancy; his sister Kathleen “Tootsie” O’Neill and her husband Tom; his brother Matthew Daley; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Tom’s father Fred Daley, his brother Paul Daley and his sister Bernadette Daley predeceased him.

A native of New Jersey, Daley served as a licensed attorney in Louisiana for 36 years and as a judge for 18 years, serving on the 40th Judicial District Court and the Louisiana 5th Circuit Court of Appeal.

He finished his legal career as the District Attorney for St. John the Baptist Parish. Daley worked hard at every job and was always ready and willing to help anyone in need.

He was a dedicated public servant, a man of great faith and a selfless husband, father and friend.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 529 W. 5th St. in LaPlace on Thursday, Feb. 5 at 1 p.m. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m.

A private burial will be held at a later date.

Arrangements are by Millet-Guidry Funeral Home.
