Ethel “Sing” Bienvenu Borne, 78, went home to her Father on Thursday, Jan. 29, 2015.

She was the beloved wife of Eugene P. Borne for 60 years; mother of Eugene “Bever” Borne (Kim), Teri Borne Hines (Mike), David Borne (Denice) and the late Raymond Borne; grandmother of Kristin Wilkinson, Catherine Nicole Borne, Amanda Borne, Kenneth Borne (Chelsea Young-fiancé), and Heather Borne Canzoneri (Evan); and great grandmother of Hannah Marie Canzoneri; daughter of the late Milton and Viola Allen Bienvenu; and sister of Jackie Bienvenu Magee, and the late Milton Bienvenu Jr., Alden “Boysie” Bienvenu and Beryl Bienvenu Brady.

Borne was a native of Reserve and a resident of LaPlace since 1958.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend services.

Visitation at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 529 West 5th St. in LaPlace, is on Saturday Jan. 31 from 10 to 11:45 a.m., followed by Funeral Mass at noon.

Burial is at Lakelawn Cemetery in Metairie.
