John Murphy Boe, 90, was born Dec. 17, 1924, and passed away on Jan. 23, 2015, at South East Louisiana War Veteran’s Home.

He was a native of Garyville and a resident of Lutcher.

A visitation will be held Monday, Jan. 26 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Paulina from 9 a.m. until funeral time.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11 a.m. with burial in the church cemetery.

He is survived by his son, Gary Paul Boe Sr. and wife Fege; daughters Arleen B. Teague and husband Jimmy, Karen B. Simon and husband Bruce; brothers O’Neil and Leonard Boe; sister Rita Bonadona; grandchildren Buddy Boe and wife Courtney, Bridget Boe, Tanya Teague, Tiffany Bossier and husband DJ, Timmy Teague, Nicole Trepagnier and husband Brad, and Kaci Simon, and great grandchildren Layla Rose Price, Tyler Kenneth Trepagnier and Danilyn Marie Bossier.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Rose Laiche Boe; parents, Jean Batiste Boe and Josephine Kliebert Boe; brothers, Jim Boe; sisters, Amelia Laiche, Hilda Crumpton, and Laura Hutchinson.

John has been reunited with his wife, Rose, the love of his life. He passed peacefully after celebrating his 90th birthday last month surrounded by family and friends.

He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and WWII and Korean War Veteran.

Anyone that knew him knows he is now dancing to the music in the sky.

Paw Paw, we love you. We’ll miss you. Give Maw Maw a big hug and kiss from all of us. Never stop dancing.
