LAPLACE — The Art Club at St. Charles Catholic High School in LaPlace has been busy making Christmas cards, and now those cards are available for the public to purchase.
SCC art teacher Robyn Denny said the students used a simple printmaking process to make various designs of different colors and sizes on the cards.
The individual cards range in price, with the smallest cards selling for 50 cents and the largest cards starting at $2.50.
Denny said for $20, an assorted bag of cards containing four large cards, four medium cards, five small cards and 10 gift tags can be purchased.
All cards come with envelopes, and the large and medium size cards say “Merry Christmas” on the inside.
The cards will be sold by Art Club Council members at lunch, but can also be purchased from Denny in room 129 or in SCC’s front office.
All money raised by the Art Club will go towards the purchase of a new camera for SCC.
