LULING — The St. Charles Parish Senior Citizens’ Christmas Luncheon starts at 10:30 a.m. Dec. 4 at the Edward A. Dufresne Community Center, 274 Judge Edward Dufresne Parkway in Luling.

The event is free, and all St. Charles Parish seniors are invited. The event will feature food, music and photos with Santa and is sponsored by the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program. For more information, call 985-783-5182.

In addition, the St. Charles Parish Public Information Office is accepting videos from parish residents that will be included in a holiday greetings piece for SCP-TV and the parish website.

Officials said this is a perfect chance to wish friends and family out of state or serving overseas a happy holiday season just by passing along a link. To submit, residents may send their video file to publicinfo@stcharlesgov.net. If the file is too big for e-mail, send a note, and Public Information staff will send back a link to upload the file to a Dropbox account.
