LAPLACE — The 2014 Andouille Festival in LaPlace found Post 383 actively recruiting new members and educating the public about the American Legion.

In addition, donations were received for its Boy’s and Girl’s State Program. Over three days, more than 40 members of the Post participated. As a result, over 18 new members joined the American Legion.

American Legion Post 383 participated in the Opening Ceremonies with Parish President Natalie Robottom by presenting flags, salutes, pledge of allegiance and the singing of the National Anthem by Post member Chris Workman.
