LAPLACE — A special day geared to the region’s youth is planned in November, complete with free entertainment and food.

Celebration Church River Parishes Campus is hosting “Youth Explosion 2014” at 6 p.m. Nov. 22 at 3400 Highway 51 in LaPlace.

The event is free of charge and includes free pizza and drinks for all youth. The headline performer is Predestined AKA Bloodbought Misfit.

Also scheduled to perform is Celebration Church Youth Worship Band and Checkerz: The Lyrical Preacher.

Other highlights include spoken word and drama performances, games and giveaways.
