LUTCHER — St. James Parish Hospital announced Dr. Nakash Grant, clinical cardiologist, is joining the team of cardiologists supporting the hospital from Ochsner Health System.
St. James Parish Hospital announced a clinical affiliation with Ochsner this summer for continuous cardiology support from a team of Ochsner Medical Center—Kenner physicians.
Hospital leaders said patients can expect 24/7 cardiology support for ER and Inpatients, seamless transfer options, access to a national leader in cardiac care, outpatient cardiology clinics Monday through Friday mornings and quicker turnaround times on cardiology diagnostic tests.
Grant, who joins fellow Interventional Cardiologists Lewis Siegel, Zola N’Dandu and David Liff, earned his undergrad degree from Andrews University in Michigan.
His medical school background includes attending Loma Linda University (medicine), Kettering Medical Center (internal medicine) and Kettering Medical Center (cardiovascular medicine).
Grant is a board-certified internist and board-certified with the National Board of Echocardiography.
