Sixth graders Sarah St. Pierre, Melody Newsome and their classmates celebrated ‘Mustache Monday’ as part of a lesson on figurative language at Ascension of Our Lord. The students wore mustaches and stickers stating you ‘mustache’ me about … alliteration, onomatopoeia, personification or one of the other literary devices they are studying in Celeste Montz’s literature class.
