GARYVILLE — The ninth annual St. Hubert’s Fleur De Lis Pageants will be held Nov. 8 at the Parish Hall in Garyville.

Applications for all pageant divisions are now being taken. Queens reign over the St. Hubert’s Fourth of July Celebration held on the church grounds annually. 

The divisions for the children’s pageant are Baby Miss: 6 weeks to 12 months; Toddler Miss: 13 months to 23 months; Tiny Miss 2 to 3 years; Petite Miss: 4 to 5 years; Little Miss: 6 to 8 years; Deb Miss: 9 to 11 Years and Junior Miss: 12 to 13 years.

The entry fee is $55, including photogenic, if registered by Nov. 3. Registration at the door will be accepted but will be charged a $5 late fee.

Contestants from 6 weeks to 3 years of age must be at the St. Hubert’s Parish Hall by 10 a.m. with competition beginning at 10:30 a.m.

The contestants from 4 to 14 years must be at the hall for noon.

Awards will be given for Prettiest Eyes, Hair, Smile and Fashion, as well as Overall awards. Queens in each division will receive an embroidered banner, pin and rhinestone crown. 

Contestants interested in competing in the Teen, Miss and MS divisions should contact the director for an application and information sheet. Contestants must attend a mandatory meeting and practice beginning at 7 p.m. Nov. 5 at the St. Hubert’s Parish Hall. All forms, entry fees and pictures can be turned in at the meeting.

The Miss Fleur De Lis will represent the St. Hubert’s Fourth of July Celebration at the Louisiana Association of Festivals Queen of Queens Pageant in Baton Rouge in February, as well as pageants and festivals throughout Louisiana.

The Pageant begins at 3 p.m. at the St. Hubert’s Parish Hall. Admission is $5 for adults and $2 for children 5 to 14 years of age. Children 4 and under are free.
