LAPLACE — A domestic quarrel Saturday between two women led to a drive-by shooting and an arrest, authorities said.

A 39-year-old female victim told St. John the Baptist Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies Amanda Fleuriet, 39, of LaPlace, drove past her house and fired two shots, striking a truck parked on her driveway.

No one was injured.

Lt. Dane Clement said the victim and the suspect were quarreling over a man.

Fleuriet turned herself in to detectives Monday at the Criminal Investigations Division.

She was wanted for assault by drive-by shooting and aggravated damage to property.

Fleuriet bonded out of jail on a $30,000 bond.
