Lucille Roussel Roques, 96, a native and resident of Paulina, passed away on Monday, Sept. 1, 2014.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, Sept. 4, from 8:00 until 11:45 a.m. at Rose Lynn Funeral Services in Lutcher.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at noon at St. Joseph Church in Paulina. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.

She is survived by her children, Dianne (Rockie) Boice and husband Jeff, Joan Kinler and husband Charles, Dennis Roques and wife Debbie, Paula St. Pierre, Juanita Roussel, Cindy Millet and husband Craig, Jeffery Roques and wife Cathy; brother, Gilbert (Zeke) Roussel; 12 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Pascal Roques; parents, Elie and Justine Poche Roussel; son, Glenn Michael Roques; brothers, Louis, Albert, Anicet (Tom Tom), Allen (Gingo) Roussel; sisters, Gertrude Roussel Borne and Isabel Roussel.

The family would like to thank the staff at Chateau St. James and Hospice Compassus for their care and compassion during our Mother’s final year.
