Archie Manning to speak at SCC quarterbacks club Aug. 19

Archie Manning will be the special guest speaker Aug. 19 as the St. Charles Catholic Quarterbacks Club will hold its first meeting of the new season. The SCC Quarterback Club meets every Tuesday evening at 6:30 p.m. All SCC family and friends are invited to attend. Athletic director Frank Monica will introduce SCC’s new Head Basketball Coach, Kemper Todd.
Archie Manning is a former American professional football quarterback who played for the New Orleans Saints from 1971 to 1982, then for the Houston Oilers and Minnesota Vikings. Manning is the father of Cooper Manning, Peyton Manning, and Eli Manning. Working with his three sons, Cooper, Peyton, and Eli, Archie hosts the Manning Passing Academy each summer. Coach Frank Monica also assists the Mannings at their summer camp. This camp brings together young players from grades 8–12 who work with high school coaches and college players. Come hear Archie and enjoy a good meal and good fellowship on Tuesday, August 19th at St. Charles Catholic High School in LaPlace.
