Nelwyn Cambre Jacob, 75, was born on March 7, 1939, and passed away on July 14, 2014.

She was a native and resident of Garyville.

She is survived by her husband Oscar “Jerry” Jacob; daughters Darleen Keating (Glen), Denise Morrow (Brian), Jeri Lyn Preston (Scott); brothers: Milton “T-Boy” Cambre, and Eddie Cambre.

She is also survived by a sister, Norma Fremin; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents: Frank and Elsie Badeaux Cambre; a brother Lanny Cambre, and a sister Kathleen Cambre.

Visitation will be on Thursday, July 17 at St. Hubert Catholic Church in Garyville from 9 to 11 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m.

Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery in Paulina.
