Dabney Wallace, a retired draftsman with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (New Orleans District), entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, June 25, 2014, at the age of 60.

He was the loving son of the late Roland Sr. and Audrey Melancon Wallace; beloved brother of Roland Jr., Louvinia E., Jackie and Donald (Deborah) Wallace and Margo Wallace; and loving uncle of Trevis and Monique Wallace, Yamika Shannon (Jonathan), Donald and Keoka Miller. He is also survived by devoted cousin Melvin (Nanette) Matthews Sr., four great-nephews, two great-nieces and a host of other relatives and friends.

Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers and members of New Foundation for Life Full Gospel Baptist Church are all invited to attend the Homegoing Celebration at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 5, 2014, at New Foundation for Life Full Gospel Baptist Church, 1061 Cambridge Drive in LaPlace.

Pastor Burnell J. Dent is officiating.

Interment will be at Providence Memorial Park, 8200 Airline Drive in Metairie. Visitation begins at 9 a.m. in the above named church.
