Courtney Schexnayder Guidry, 38, died on Saturday, Feb. 22, 2014.

She was the beloved wife of Leon G. Guidry, mother of Jude, Anna and Gabriel Guidry, daughter of James and Linda Aucoin Schexnayder, sister of Amanda Noel (Matt) and Josh Schexnayder (Jessica) and granddaughter of Myrtle and the

late Maurice Aucoin and the late Roland Sr. and Laurence Schexnayder.

She was a native and resident of LaPlace.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend services. Visitation will be at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 529 W. Fifth St., LaPlace, on Wednesday Feb. 26, 2014, from 9:30 a.m. to noon, followed by Mass. Burial will followin St. Peter Cemetery in Reserve. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations to the National Shrine of Blessed Francis Xavier Seelos, 919 Josephine St., New Orleans, LA 70130. Arrangements are by Millet-Guidry Funeral Home of LaPlace.
