Memorial services for Lisa W. Layton will be at Seale Funeral Home in Denham Springs on Sunday, Jan. 26, 2014, at 2 p.m. The parlor will open for visitation at 1 p.m.

Layton was born on Oct. 7, 1959, in Gulfport, Miss., to the union of David and Willa Mae Pyrtle Walters and departed from this life on the early morning of Saturday, Jan. 18, 2014, at her home.

She was a resident of Denham Springs and a homemaker. She enjoyed art, old automobiles and history. She also had a passion for children and animals.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Harry Walters.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Michael L. Layton Jr., her children, Jennifer Wren, Timothy Wren and Shaun Wren, stepson Michael L. Layton III, siblings Beverly Paul, Debbie Nobles and Mike Walters, grandchildren Gage Tyler Chambliss, Megan Wren, Miguel, Marie, Matthew and Eric Bullard Jr. and Drew, Haley and Brice Wren.
