Gramercy Elementary Magnet School of Visual and Performing Arts’ fifth- and sixth-graders showcased two night performances of the “Aladdin” musical for friends, family and the community.  

Students participated in a live audition in August and were cast in the musical. They rehearsed with one another during the school day and 2–3 times a week after school. Students sang, danced and acted together learning the importance of working as a team to make the musical a success. The technical crew ran the show and the set crew created the set and all props.
