Earline Tassin Lemoine, 68, lost her battle with cancer and went to eternal rest on Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2013.
She was the beloved wife of Lionel J. Lemoine Jr., mother of Lisa L. Rouse (Randal), Scott Lemoine (Michelle), Linda L. Firmin (Randall), Travis Lemoine (fiancee Lynda) and Rachel L. Majoria (Murphy), grandmother of Gabrielle R. Sandy (Brett), Jacob, Michaela and Noah Rouse, Kaitlyn, Brandon, Nicholas, Courtney and Lauren Lemoine, Ryan, Rebecca, Rhett, Renee, Reid and Ryker Firmin, Corrine and Brady Clement and Myla Majoria, daughter of the late George and Melodia Hymel Tassin and sister of Randall Tassin, Melodia Milioto, Kathleen Valicenti, George Tassin Jr., Janice Gourgues, Dolores Ledet and the late Darryl Tassin Sr.
She was very active in her church and pro-life work, being instrumental in forming the Champions For Life group and organizing the March For Life trip to Washington, D.C. She received the Order of St. Louis Medal in 2011. She was a native of Norco and a resident of LaPlace.
Ser-vices were held Thurs-day, Oct. 17, 2013, at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church. Burial followed in St. Charles Borromeo Cemetery in Destrehan.
