Victoria Teresa Deroche was born on Oct. 15, 2013, and passed away on Oct. 15, 2013.  
She is survived by her parents, Oren and Jennifer Belak Deroche; her siblings: Beau, Sean and Sarah Deroche; her paternal grandparents, Donald and Kathleen Breaud Deroche; and her maternal grandparents, Karlo and Karen Thompson Belak.  
She was preceded in death by her siblings, Raphael and Gabriella.
“Although we are grieved at the passing of our daughter, Victoria, from this life we find comfort and joy from the teachings of Jesus Christ and His One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church.  Due to Victoria’s baptism, sinless life and passing before the age of reason, we are confident that her soul is in the presence of the angels and the saints giving glory and praise to the One Almighty God. Victoria’s unblemished soul reminds us of the scriptures when Jesus says that the pure of heart will behold the face of God and that to enter Heaven we must be unto like little children.  May we all strive in our lives to be pure of heart and like little children in their thankfulness, joy, forgiveness, innocence and love. We will dearly miss our little Victoria, who has victory over death and will rise again on the last day. Her short life and passing also remind us of our ultimate dependency on God and that it is in doing His Holy Will that we find peace.”  
The wake will be on Sunday, Oct. 20, 2013, from 3 p.m. until 4 p.m. at Rose Lynn Funeral Home.  Visitation will be on Monday, Oct. 21, 2013, from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m. at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, Convent, followed by the Mass of the Angels, a Low Mass in the Extraordinary Form, at 10 a.m. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
