LAPLACE – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announced road closures for Tuesday and Wednesday of this week.
The right eastbound lane of Interstate 10 will be closed on Tuesday, July 9 from 7 p.m. to 4 a.m.
The right westbound lane of I-10 will be closed on Wednesday, July 10 from 7 p.m. to 4 a.m.
The road closure is for scale platform replacement at the LaPlace scales located between mile marker 206-209 both directions. One lane will be open at all times. DOTD advises motorists to take U.S. Highway 61 as an alternate route to avoid construction. There will be no restrictions on oversized loads during the closures.
