Earl J. Perque Sr., 80, passed away Monday, July 1, 2013.
He was the beloved husband of Sylvia Audiffred Perque, father of Earl Perque Jr. (Gloriann), Greta P. Ansardi (Bernard), Paula Perque and Paul Perque (Shelly), grandfather of Jonathan Perque, Ashly and Brandon Ansardi and Layla Enayati, great-grandfather of Jaelynn Ansardi, son of the late Davis and Eva Perque and brother of the late Colon and Murphy Perque, Beulah Roussel, Jeanette Lemoine and Mabel Cambre.
He was a member of the VFW, American Legion and Knights of Columbus. He served in the Korean War. He retired from L.P. and L. He was a native of Lutcher and resident of Reserve.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend services. Visitation will be held at St. Peter Catholic Church in Reserve on Saturday, July 6, 2013, from 10 a.m. to noon, followed by Mass at noon. Burial will follow in St. Peter Cemetery. Arrangements are by Millet-Guidry Funeral Home of LaPlace.
