Yvonne’s Directions In Dance from Lutcher was selected to represent Kids Artistic Review from Louisiana’s Baton Rouge regional competition in the Federation of Dance Competitions. Each regional competition selects one routine from their event to re-compete on an online competition for the prestigious  people’s choice award. The winner of this award receives $1,000 to use toward having guest choreographers come to their studio to give workshops and master classes. This award promotes excellence in dance competitions by recognizing outstanding dance routines seen during the competition season. A video of each regional winner’s routine is posted on the FDC website to be voted on by the public from June 15-July 15.
YDID is honored to have its tap number “King Creole” selected for this competition. This is the third year that the YDID Dance Company has been selected for this online competition, and the students would love and appreciate your votes.
