GMMS student chosen as state ambassador for Fuel Up to Play 60

Debbie Perkins (left), physical education teacher and Fuel Up to Play 60 program advisor for GMMS, will attend the 2013 Fuel Up to Play 60 Student Ambassador Summit in Charlotte, N.C., as a state program advisor. Heaven Mamou, a GMMS seventh-grader, will attend as the 2013-14 student ambassador for the state of Louisiana.
