Early Childhood students at St. Charles Borromeo in Destrehan raised $4,462 in a trike-a-thon for St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital. A St. Jude’s Hospital representative informed the school that the money raised would help provide chemotherapy for three children.
Parent volunteers helped with the morning activities, which included learning about bike safety, the bike path, bubble and sand stations and time on the playground. Parent volunteer Heather Lyons, gives PK3 student Chloe Caluda a little assistance on the bike path with Tyler Snider on the left.
