Recently, River Region Ballet awarded 12 Junior Company members for their accomplishments in the 2012-13 season. RRB holds their dancers in the highest regard, endeavoring to enhance their dance technique and performance skills while encouraging discipline and team work.  In the winter and spring performances, the members danced various roles. Members also participated in community outreach programs by performing at local nursing care facilities. Guest artists invited to lead workshops for dance education for the dancers included ballerina Jessica Fry McAlister, McTeggart Irish Dancers of Louisiana and modern dancer and choreographer Lula Elzy.
