Fernand J. (F.J.) Aycock Jr., 83, passed away on Thursday, April 11, 2013. Aycock was a native and resident of LaPlace, and a U.S. Army Veteran.

He was the beloved son of the late Fernand J. and Palmyre Lasseigne Aycock. He was the brother of Teresa Aycock Madere, Sister Joan Marie Aycock of the Order of St. Ursula, and the late Sister Damian Aycock, also of the Order of St. Ursula. He was the uncle of Donna M. Ramirez (David), Marshall Madere (Carolyn), Kevin Madere (Donna) and Carol M. Vicknair (Wayne). Aycock is also survived by numerous great nieces and nephews.  

Relatives and friends are invited to attend services. Visitation will take place at Millet-Guidry Funeral Home in LaPlace on Friday April 19, 2013 from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Visitation will be followed by memorial services in the funeral home chapel l at 10 a.m. Burial will take place at St. Peter Cemetery in Reserve.
