Riverside Academy recently hosted its annual Art Workshop sponsored by the Grandparents’ League. Art created by the grandparents will be used at the German Arts Festival scheduled for Thursday, March 14, 7–9 p.m. This event, partially sponsored by the River Region Arts and Humanities Council, is open to the community and is held in the Riverside Academy courtyard. Grandparent artists dressed in German lederhosen vests and Alpine hats include (front row, left to right) Gladys Elfer, Penny Triche, Deanna Maus, and Anna Lea Oubre; and (back row, left to right) Barry Triche, Richard Cashio, Bob Vicknair, Donna Terrio, Beverly Jacob, Penny Vicknair, Joe Oubre and Mary Oubre.
