A Girls Group from LaPlace Elementary School named “In Our Hearts” have decided to reach out to the community, students, parents, faculty and staff of Sandy Hook Elementary School by encouraging other students at LaPlace Elementary to send letters of encouragement to all the victims and their families. The letters that were sent consisted of various fifth and sixth grade classes who typed them during their computer lab time. The “In Our Hearts” group consist of the following students, Hillary Medrano, Abigail Mabile and Angelique Hunt.
