Mary Ellen Vicknair Scioneaux, 86, passed away Friday, Feb. 15, 2013.
She was the beloved wife of the late Ernest Scioneaux and devoted mother of Ernest Jr. and Randy Scioneaux, Linda Deroche, Madeline Louque and Eleanor Scioneaux and the late Kathleen Bradford and Sharon Couty. She also had 12 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
She was the daughter of the late Pierre and Eleanor Jacob Vicknair and sister of Peter Vicknair and the late Corrine Weber, Gladys Maurin and Clement, Robert, Donald and Harry Vicknair.
She was a native of Reserve and a resident of Gramercy.
Services were held Monday, Feb. 18, 2013 at St. Peter Catholic Church in Reserve. Burial followed in St. Peter Cemetery. The family would like to extend special thanks to Old Jefferson Community Care Center of Baton Rouge.
