HMS Choir shines in Honor Choir Concerts

Harry Hurst Choir members Ashley Nicholas, Harleigh Dahl, Angela Dufour, Ashlyn Cannon and Gabrielle Charron performed with the St. Charles Parish Elementary Honor Choir.

The 60 member Elementary Parish Honor Choir opened the performance with “Festival Allelia,” “Little Firefly,” “This Little Light Of Mine,” “When I Close My Eyes,” and “Bee! I’m Expecting You!” The Honor Choir members were under the direction of Kathryn Claverie, accompa-nied by Jennifer Eastland.

Also Harry Hurst Choir Members Katelyn Belozerows, Savannah McGee, Katie Fisk, Colleen Mahler, Kristen Theriot, Victoria Belozerows, Evan Keller, Matt Lewis, Mitchel Tarashvilli and Justin Abbate performed with the St. Charles Parish Honor Choir.

The 45 member Parish Honor Choir performed at Hahnville High School. Members of the Hurst, Cammon, R.K. Smith and J.B. Martin choirs combined to perform under the baton of Melanie St. Cyr from Slidell High School. They performed “Alleluia,” “The Drunken Sailor,” “Blackbird,” “A Festival Sanctus” and “The Battle Of Jericho.”
