STARKES

Lilly Clement Starkes, 88, passed away Monday, Nov. 26, 2012.

She was the beloved wife of the late James Starkes, daughter of the late William and Aline Melancon Clement and sister of Juliette C. Alford, Melba C. Catoire, Carmen C. Weber, Elizabeth C. Cehlar, Gerald Clement and the late Daniel, William Jr. and Roy Clement, Helen C. Satterlee and Nina C. Scalco. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

She was a native of LaPlace and a former resident of Metairie.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend services. Visitation will be held at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in LaPlace on Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2012, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. followed by Mass at 11:30 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Peter Cemetery in Reserve. Arrangements are by Millet-Guidry Funeral Home of LaPlace.
